About Autism

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a developmental disability that impairs communication and social interaction throughout a person's lifetime. Many people with Autism also have unusual ways of learning, paying attention, perception of different sensations. Individuals with Autism are affected in varying degrees.  It knows no racial, ethnic, or social boundaries. There is no known single cause for autism.
